The world needs all the light we can share...

Kindness | Purpose | Authenticity

Hey there, fellow writer!

I'm Audrey

Fiction author, planner creator, mother, wife, US Army veteran.

Writing became my passion from a young age, my notebooks quickly filling with adventurous high fantasy and science fiction stories. What started as fiction writing evolved to consist mostly of report writing and formal business communication during my fourteen years of active and reserve duty in the United States Army.

While pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing, I began contributing regularly to local magazines and first saw my byline in print in July of 2015.

Since attaining my B.A. in English (Writing) and completing my M.A. in Ancient and Classical history, I've returned to completing my many WIPs while also serving my fellow writers in the areas of planning, organization, business, social media, and mindset.

In February 2017, I founded the Author Transformation Alliance, a community dedicated to uplifting and empowering authors at all stages to reach their vision of success step-by-step with a powerful network of support to guide them. With social media and the current state of the internet, authors no longer need to go it alone or guess their way through the ever-evolving landscape of modern marketing.

You can often find me at the local coffee shops working on my manuscripts of varying genres. When I'm not writing or working with other authors, I love spending time with my husband and our five children–or looking for any opportunity to go horseback riding.

Audrey’s encouragement coupled with her knowledge makes her a truly valuable asset to any author struggling with what to do next. I highly recommend her services to anyone needing help focusing their marketing activities and transforming their social media into an effective foundation for their career. My only regret is that I didn’t come across Audrey earlier in my author career."

Being in the ATA has transformed my writing career. The help provided within the group is as valuable as the courses offered.

The ATA has my author journey firmly in place now that I have learned how to plan for the week, month and year. It's not as scary as it sounds. Through the ATA challenges, I've pushed myself to grow my social media platforms that my readers visit daily.

I honestly don't think I could have written, illustrated, and self-published my first fiction book without the ATA. The ATA made it all possible. Audrey Hughey is a great coach and motivator, the ATA resources such as the classes and monthly challenges offer fabulous learning opportunities, and the group is welcoming and supportive.
